Modern Hungarian Gallery

The collection, which is one of the richest in Hungary, provides a comprehensive cross-section of works by the most important artists of Hungarian fine art for more than a hundred years.

The exhibition presents works by Károly Ferenczy, János Thorma, József Rippl-Rónai, Lajos Gulácsy, Róbert Berény, Dezső Czigány, Lajos Tihanyi (Group of Eight), as well as by important artists of the second half of the 20th century with ties to Pécs (Ilona Keserü, Ferenc Lantos, Sándor Pinczehelyi).
