Renovated in 2010, it is the resting place of the Zsolnay family, where 42 lions guard the secrets of the eosin technique on a hill 200 metres from the Zsolnay Cultural Quarter.

It can be admireda in its original splendour. When Vilmos Zsolnay (1828-1900) died, he was temporarily buried in the cemetery on the outskirts of Pécs-Buda, but the family wanted to give him a memorial worthy of his greatness. His mausoleum was designed on the hill behind the factory. Zsolnay often visited the site and enjoyed looking out over the factory from here. Designed by his son-in-law, the architect Tade Sikorski Sikorski, the circular neo-Romanesque chapel with its pyrogranite slabs was completed in 1906. The reburial of Vilmos Zsolnay took place in October 1913, under the cover of darkness, in a small family circle. In daylight, the effect of the mausoleum is impressive inside and out. In the lower room stands the sarcophagus with its eosinmased relief. The garden is surrounded by a stone wall covered with salt-glazed pyrogranite bones, and 42 reclining lions stand guard on either side of the road. All but two of the original lions have been restored under the EFF programme and the building, which had been badly dilapidated in recent decades, has been restored.
