The nearly 200-metre-high reinforced concrete colossus stands on the 535-metre-high Misina roof, with a panoramic viewing terrace and a press room. On a clear day, you can see the Mecsek Mountains and the Mecsek Ridge. In a southerly direction, a cloud of mist usually floats over the town, the Jami and the Cathedral are as small as matchboxes, but still all the universal values of Pécs' millennia-old Christian and 150-year-old Muslim tradition radiate up into the Mediterranean hillside.
