The secrets of the legendary district are revealed on our latest themed walk.Did you know that this popular destination for Pécs for centuries, the site of many 19th century civic events and fireworks displays, was once visited by Franz Joseph? And that it is also the site of the Gates of Hell, the ruins of a medieval summer palace and one of the most important arboretums in the region? Do you know the uncrowned king of picturesque Tettye, who dedicated his life to reviving the place?The secrets of the legendary district will be revealed on our latest themed walk, guided by Gábor Tillai, historian at the Janus Pannonius Museum. The walk starts from Pécs Pont, where the group will take a regular bus service to Havihegy.Advance ticket purchase is possible after registration; those with a previously purchased ticket can join the group in front of the Havihegyi church. The bus group will arrive at the church, which is the first stop on the walk, at approximately 15:15.Please note that you must have a valid ticket to join the group at the Havihegyi church.During the walk, the group will also visit the Pintér Garden, which is not included in the basic price of the walk. The entrance fee to the Pintér Garden is 400 HUF/person. Free entry for children under 6 years. The entrance fee to the garden is paid on the spot by the group members individually.
