History
The Zsolnay Museum is housed in the oldest known house in the city. The permanent exhibition shows the development of architectural ceramics and the factory's participation in the world exhibitions of the turn of the last century (Duck Fountain; Pomegranate Tree with dancing women). Upstairs, the finest pieces of the decorative ceramics collection are on display, along with the most important inventions of Vilmos Zsolnay, porcelain faience and the eosin technique, as well as the work of the designers.
