History
Besides the many exciting books, the stairway of the hall is a really special and imposing sight in the Kaptár.
The huge mosaic which symbolizes the universe was created by Márta Nagy, a local ceremic artist. This beautiful Zsolnay porcelain cover contains more than 60 000 tiles in 19 different colors in 600 squere meters. Currently the hive has the biggest continous ceramic tile in the Hungarian architecture.
