Pécs was at the forefront of the optical planetarium era when the first such facility opened in the country in 1975.
The new observatory, which can accommodate 45 people, was also one of the first to open in the era of digital planetariums. Its aim is not only to provide information on astronomy, space and other sciences in an entertaining way, but also to present the astronomical aspects of art and history.- Full price: 1.300 HUF (in high season July-August 1.500 HUF/person)

How to get there
You can reach it from the Main Railway Station and from the bus stop of the Fairgrounds with buses 4 and 4Y and then you have to walk 50 metres from the Zsolnay Quarter.
Parking is available in the parking lot of the Zsolnay Quarter.
