History
Later the National Casino of Pécs bought the house and turned it into a classicist style building. Even some Turkish mugs were found when laying the foundations for the new Casino. But as the original plans turned out to be too expensive, Imre Schaluch changed them, and so an eclectic building was constructed in 1895. It’s a highly functional building: for some time it was a services club (Club of Armed Forces), a restaurant, and now it is awaiting a new role.
HOW TO GET THERE
It can be reached from the Railway Station by buses 3, 4, 4Y, 8, 104, 104Y. Get off at the Árkád, then walk 500 meters in the direction of Széchenyi Square, then to Király Street.
