Monument to Musicians

Both were determining figures in the nineteenth-century musical life of the city. Imre Weidinger lost his sight as a child, but his outstanding talent was still noticed. At the age of 20 he went on a European concert tour and was highly successful. Amtman Prosper was an outstanding musical talent as well, having already published flute compositions during his years as a student. He had successful concerts in almost every country of Europe.
