History
The lamp commemorates the events of the Serb occupation, when the city resisted attempts at assimilation.
There is a bronze plaque under it, a monument to the 8th Hussar Regiment. On its left and right sides there are two plaques in honor of the heroes of the military regiments of Pécs participating in the First World War.
HOW TO GET THERE
You can reach it from the bus stops of the Railway Station by buses 4 and 4Y, then walk 500 metres up Irgalmasok Street from the Árkád.
