Created in 1952, the Botanic Garden spreads across the foot of the Mecsek. Thanks to its sub-mediterranean climate the garden displays an ever-growing number of Mediterranean plants. It was declared a county nature conservation area in 1989.
More than 1200 trees and shrubs, as well as at least 2000 perennials are on display in the 5,2 ha area.

Adult – 700 HUF
Student/pensioner – 400 HUF
Child (ages 2-6) – 200 HUF
Free under the age of 2.
How to get there
It can be reached from the main railway station by bus number 30 and 130. Get off at Ifjúság street.
