About us

TÉDÉEM PÉCS Nonprofit Kft. is an organisation responsible for the tourism of Pécs. Its objective is to provide comprehensive information to tourists arriving in the town, to manage tourism in Pécs, to popularize the events of the European Capital of Culture programme (Pécs, 2010) and to exploit and utilize the local tourist attractions more efficiently. TÉDÉEM PÉCS operates in close cooperation with the Pécs Turizmus Közhasznú Egyesület (Pécs Tourism Non-profit Association) that brings together the various businesses and service providers operating in the field of tourism. The aim of the activities carried out in the form of this partnership is to develop competitiveness (tourism infrastructure, uniqueness, attractivity, hospitality, etc.), to enhance the reputation of the region and to generate local economic development by increasing the volume of tourist arrivals.

These tasks are realized in the form of a dual organizational structure:

1. Tourist Information Unit – Tourinform Pécs
Its task is to provide comprehensive information and assistance to tourists arriving in the town
