Surroundings of Pécs
The village combines the spirit of the historical memorial place with the beautiful squares of the ancestral nature and the castle gardens.
Pécsvárad is situated in the footsteps of Zengő peak which is the highest point of the Mecsek hills besides the main road number 6 and the Pécs-Bátaszék railway 19 kms far from Pécs in Baranya County.
Palkonya still preserves the architectural style of the German viticulturists who settled here in the 18th century. Its most famous tourist attraction, is the protected street of cellars consisting of 53 press houses covering the hillside at the end of Palkonya.
From Pécs it can be reached on the road 58.
Szigetvár entered its name into the Hungarian history in 1566 when Miklós Zrínyi and his defending army intercepted Sultan Suleiman’s bevy.
Zengővárkony, a village with only about 400 inhabitants is situated 17 km from Pécs, at the foot of the Zengő hill, in a valley surrounded by a beautiful chestnut forest.
The most famous sight of Villánykövesd at favourite haunt of tourists and a frequent theme of painters and photographers: the triple-level village of cellars.

Orfű and its surroundings
Deep in the Orfű valley flows a stream which weaves together three little villages, in the east side of the valley two other villages settled.
Óbánya is situated in the East – Mecsek Hills, in a small reclused valley. According to the large number of German population, the village is mentiond as „the Hungarian Switzerland”.
Danube Drava National Park - Ancient Drava Visitor Centre
Located 15 km from Harkány, in the Ormánság region near the village Szaporca, the Ancient Drava Visitor Centre presents information about Duna-Drava National Park, river Drava, the life once lived in the Ormánság region, and traditional ways of farming.
Bükkösd village is located in Baranya County in the Subregion of Szentlőrinc.
The nearly two hundred years old settlement is located in the Northern part of Baranya county close to the border of Tolna county.
The 180 years old spa in Harkány is famous for its thermal water which was discovered in 1823.
Komló and surroundings
Due to its location Komló offers many opportunities for tourists. Sikonda which administratively belongs to Komló, situated in a beautiful wooded valley.
The town is situated in the Southeast part of Baranya county on the banks of the Danube. The settlement is located at the interchange of highway 56 and 57.
The first church was built by King Géza II in 1147, but its heyday was in the 18th century when it became the Baranya county centre of the cult of the Virgin Mary revival at the time of the counter-reformation.
The small stronghold of Máré Castle is situated on a 340 meter high steep peak near by Magyaregregy.
Abaliget is situated on the northwest slope of Mecsek mountains, in a valley surrounded by forests.
