Statue of the Holy Trinity
Following the example of Emperor Leopold I, a Holy Trinity statue was erected on the main square of Pécs commemorating the victims of the Plague.
The Pantheon of the Arad Martyrs
The establishment of the Pantheon of the Arad Martyrs on the wide road opened during the reconstruction of the city was the idea of local architect Sándor Dévényi.
The fountain was erected for a double Zsolnay anniversary in 1998: the 170th anniversary of the birth of Vilmos Zsolnay and the 145th anniversary of the foundation of the Zsolnay Factory.
The statue of the Goddess of Triumph, made by Memos Makris, was erected on the hillside of the Mecsek in 1975 as a Liberation monument.
Nestling in the hillside of the Mecsek, the French Memorial was inaugurated in 1908. It is the work of Andor Pilch, the eagle perched on top was produced by the Zsolnay factory and it was made of pyrogranite.
Appropriately, it stands in front of the Somogy Winery.
Equestrian Statue of János Hunyadi
The mounted statue of Hunyadi stands on the square itself. It was inaugurated in 1956, commemorating the triumph at Nándorfehérvár and the 500th anniversary of the death of the hero.
Eternal Flame Monument
The lamp commemorates the events of the Serb occupation, when the city resisted attempts at assimilation.
The stone pool of the fountain standing on Aranyos Square was planned by Andor Nendtvich while the standing figure of a boy is the work of Elek Lux.
